Max Kane is the Founder and CEO of Novella, where he leads the company's mission to help retail brokers win more business.

He previously spent four years leading product for Lemonade's non-direct distribution team, building and scaling their broker distribution channel.

After years of building software for insurance brokers, Max started Novella to solve that problem.

Alex Broome is the Co-Founder and Head of Brokerage at Novella, where he drives carrier partnerships and guides retail brokers toward high-quality E&S property and casualty placements.

He previously led and scaled ReShield, a real estate focused retail brokerage within FounderShield that was acquired by Baldwin Insurance Group (NASDAQ: BWIN) in 2021.

Alex began his career in real estate debt investing and holds a BA from the University of Michigan.

Michael is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Novella, where he leads technology and engineering, building an AI-first wholesale insurance agency from the ground up and using technology to make complex insurance simpler.

He previously held senior engineering and architecture roles at Microsoft and several cybersecurity startups and enterprise software companies, specializing in distributed systems and cloud architecture. Michael began his career as a software engineer more than 20 years ago and has been building large-scale technology ever since.
